This shim kit allows you to precisely adjust the shellplate heght on your FA X-10 to exactly match the case feed deck height. This ensures that the case plunger will deliver cases in a smooth action without any jams or other problems.

This shim kit allows you to precisely adjust the shellplate heght on your FA X-10 to exactly match the case feed deck height. This ensures that the case plunger will deliver cases in a smooth action without any jams or other problems.
Installation
Step 1
Uncouple the powder measure, remove the toolhead and primer feed mechanism.
Step 2
Unscrew the shellplate retainer and lift out the shellplate.
Step 3
Instal a medium shim, re-instal your shellplate and shellplate retainer. Check case feed deck and shellplate cutout hight alignment.
Step 4
Repeat step 3 with adding or removing shims until your case feed deck is perfectly level with your shellplate cutout.
Step 5
Reasemble the machine and you are ready to go.
