This shim kit allows you to precisely adjust the shellplate height on your FA X-10, ensuring it perfectly matches the case feed deck height. With accurate alignment, the case plunger delivers cases smoothly and reliably, minimizing jams and ensuring consistent performance during operation.

This shim kit allows you to precisely adjust the shellplate height on your FA X-10, ensuring it perfectly matches the case feed deck height. With accurate alignment, the case plunger delivers cases smoothly and reliably, minimizing jams and ensuring consistent performance during operation.
Installation
Step 1
Uncouple the powder measure, then remove both the toolhead and the primer feed mechanism.
Step 2
Unscrew the shellplate retainer, then carefully lift out the shellplate.
Step 3
Install a medium shim, then re-install the shellplate and retainer. Check the alignment between the case feed deck and the shellplate cutout height to ensure proper case feeding.
Step 4
Repeat Step 3, adding or removing shims as needed, until the case feed deck is perfectly level with the shellplate cutout.
Step 5
Reassemble the machine and you’re ready to go!
