The Short Trim Zero-Play toolhead is designed to be securely mounted in its uppermost position in the frame of the press by 2 M3 bolts instead of the original Dillon Pins. This enables very precise cuts and limits the amount of moving variables that could affect the precision of cut. It features a deep cut that allows short trim dies to be seated lower and allow trimming also very short cases like 300AAC.
Zero-Play System
When you cycle cases downward, the toolhead does not move, and cases go out in a straight line. Best practice is to loosen M3 bolts slightly before inserting the index shell-plate with case into dies and tightening M3 bolts to the toolhead's best position.

This combination is commonly used to trim 300 AAC Blackout on the XL650 & XL750.
